Hahaha.... so pai sei for my late blogging entry. Have been playing the role of sleeping beauty recently to lure my prince but my alarm clock woke me up. See! Fairytales lies to me! No man is reliable! Humph.

Oh.... i had upload the taiwan photos already. Well, dun really enjoy taiwan this time round. The weather was very unpredictable. On our second day, the degree drop to 12*c and i heard (think and recalling.....) 12 people in taipei was freeze to death. Furthermore, i was also feeling unwell on my first day in taiwan and true enough, i was running a fever on my second day. Sob.... with Michael Buble-Home really make me miss home. Anyway, i got well on the fourth day lah. This time round, we decided to explore tainan, taizhong and taipei on our 1 wks holiday in taiwan.

On our first and second day in tainan and jia yi
We immediately rush to the night market and search for my damn smelly tofu!!!! Anyway, the smelly tofu is not very smelly enough, sadly. I want those very smelly type wan!!!!!!! Where are they!?!?!?!?!?

The weather was so cold, so we settled for a smelly tofu ma la steamboat. Oh my, i tell u hor, taiwan have alot of steamboat stalls leh which don't cost much. If i was a taiwanese, i would probably eat that for my 3 meals a day. Hahaha... Well, of course i am not. Dude.





Jas: wad lau, really very smelly leh...
J: hmm.... smelly good...
Jas: kaoz.....my sis really suffer from very high fever lol!

Oh ya, have u try the fried quail egg? After they fried it, they will put in a small paper bag and you can asked for sauce to go with it like pepper, tomoto or salt.... weird rite? but taste good and i love to eat it while shopping lol.



Anyway, tainan also have very interesting snacks like this.... they called it scholar rice. Well, trust me, i really eat alot of that and hope it works on me!!!! Hey, don't think is CHEE KUEY hor... well, look can be deceiving wan. they use some sticky rice to steam it then you can choose their filling like peanuts, minced meat and sesame paste.


oh!!!! this is the coffin board that ya chin told me muz try! Not bad, but at some moment, i don't know what am i eating... The filling contain alot of ingredients like pea, corn, ham, pork liver ...... okie, i really don't know what are the rest liao!


We also tried the oyster egg and haiz, we decided taizhong wan is the best!



Oh, they also have jumbo hotdog and we tried their original version.

Both: And we love the jumbo hotdog here!


J: ya, is real good.... And i got to have the first bite! because i pose with it wad!
Both: Humph! so unfair!

Jas: Quick!!! Now is our turn to finish it off!!!!

On our third day - Jia Yi Beach

Jas: You have long legs and yet you walked so slow!
Jac: Wad kao! You have short arms and how the heck i can take the tickets from you!


Jas: You deserve it! Short arms also can be very cute wan okay?!
J puke blood....

After five hours on the bloody slow train, we finally reach taizhong liao! Yawn, after i puke out so many blood because i saw something damn digusting, i decided that i need food to replenish my energy. We asked around the local and they recommended us to try the prawn noodle.




The prawn noodle taste good but ....too small portion liao! And very ex lol.

Sweet for the sweet! We also tried their legendary Bean Jelly! (this is wad they called their beancurd)



Kaoz.... better than the rocher road wan.... at least they have better attitude in serving you!


Tai Zhong is more urban than Tainan lah...
So our next mission is to look for a cheap hotel to take us in lol....



But it is damn freaking hard to find a cheap hotel room that located near the city area so .... We book one standard room from a 5 stars hotel and my aunt tried to smuggle human beings (me and jac) into the room. Sobz....


First, we have to hide ourselves in the park near to the hotel and wait till my aunt completed the check in procedure. Then my sis and i will walk into the hotel like some VIP guests and followed them into the lift. My aunt will press the floor no. first and she will pretend to ask where are we staying. Both of us will smile and we will reply, "oh.... we are staying at the same floor." Then we have to convince the bellboy that we don't know each other by starting the following stupid conversation.

J: Oh... are you guys from Singapore?
Aunt: How do you know? Are you a singaporean?
J: No. We are from Japan (muhaha - why? i am the one who wrote the script wad!) but we love Singapore. It is a beautiful city.
Aunt: Have you visited Singapore?
J: My sis and i have studied in Singapore for a few years.

Then the lift door opened and we have to walk out first.
J: Nice to know you.
Aunt: Nice to know you too.

Hahaha... We have acting talent rite? Haiz... I am just looking for my BO LE to discover my talent!

We spend two full days shopping and eating, then shopping and eating again! So fun....


Actually, i prefer taizhong food. Especially their zi zhar.... Wow! Good lol.

Look at the prawn! Don't have to lie on the table wan lol.... In the freezer also very fresh wan.



Then we also visited the night market. We had ma la fishball, grilled sotong, ice cream, sweet potato ball, chicken wings, fried fish fillet ......


Oh ya, we also had their turkey ice-cream....

Jas was tricked and really made a fool out of herself! Yes! We thanked the owner for helping us to get back at her! muhahaha....


This is the attitude stall but their grilled sotong is too hard to resist.
stall owner (S.O.): Wad do you wan?
Aunt: one small grilled sotong. How much huh?
S.O.: can't see meh, it is written on the board.
Aunt: any sauce to go along?
silence....
Aunt: How long more?
silence....
This time round, my aunt was so pissed off that she wanted to leave but before she can say another sentence...
S.O.: Na! *pass the sotong to my aunt*


2 hours later, my aunt and sis love their sotong so no choice we went back again.... this time round was a teenager boy.
Aunt: One small grilled sotong.
Boy got up the seat unwillingly: Haiz.... wad you wan?
Aunt: One sotong.
Boy muttered something and cooked with alot of frustration! But well, the sotong still taste good so why complains so much! Haiz...

On our fifth day, we finally set off to TaiPei on a bullet train! Lucky only took us 2 hours to get there.


I immedately grab the two hours to sleep lah. Been sleeping for 4 hours ever since i got to taiwan leh.



Tata! we were energic once we reach taipei! Yeah! Anyway, didn't spend much in taipei because the stuffs are so much expensive than tainan and taizhong lol. By the way, we have spent most of our money liao so ....
