lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself
This month is like the ‘announcement’ month. I have received three announcements on my friends’ budding relationship and four on my friends’ break-ups. Guess, the break-up is this season trend. One hoping to get the guy back, one (not really consider my friend but my guy’s friend) whining about his post-break-up blues, two take it very easily. Well, all four relationships are those seem very stable to others and yet …. I shall not comment much then. I realized the longer a relationship is able to last, the chances of patching back if one shall initial break-up is low.
Anyway, I shall not update about my trial lives which apparently exhausted me and meiyi. Meiyi and I are working for each respective counsels and it seems that both of our bosses do not like each other. It seems more ridiculous when Meiyi’s Boss suggested one week for submission and I was like ‘Wow, so efficient huh? No other cases to tie them up meh?’
Last friend, I saw Daryl at MOS (not club) mos burger store at Toa Payoh and we chat for awhile. Yes, I am referring to the Superstar contestant Daryl; he is hoping to niche his singing career and currently taking course and lessons on singing and dancing. His parents are so supportive about his ambition and I dare not even think how my parents will react if I told them the same. I guess both of them will have a good laugh then stared back at me, straight into my eyes, and lastly, uttered a harsh word, ‘NO!’. Furthermore, my dad is so conservative and love to compare me with women or teenage at his times when they queue up for water, used a rag cloth to substitute as school bag, doing housework and looking after siblings. Honesty, I wish to rebuke him about his ‘era’, meepok sold 5 cents per bowl *now 5 cents can only be used when you visit the wishing well lol*, O level grad can be a Chairman *now some Uni grad become taxi driver lol*, girls married off at young age * if I announced that I want to get marry now, he will definitely dragged me down to clinic to do a pregnancy test lol* and if I brought a rag of cloth to school in replace of my school bag, my teacher might even think I am trying to kidnap one of my classmate leh! Well, but if I really rebuke him, I guess you guys will start missing me then. I will then move myself plus my belongings to the hospital ward for a long-term holiday.
